Born in 1979, Hugo Palotto is a Brazilian based photographer, working in Sao Paulo, he studied a Master degree in Photojournalism and Documentary at London College of Communication. He stumbled into Photography whilst looking for a way to understand and relate to others. Hugo’s work is dedicated to portray the social aspects of society, he feels compelled to show and enlighten the viewer about the significance of each individual and place. He aims to depict the other point view in the hope that it may challenge the viewers’ current perception hoping to encourage people to reflect on the circumstances of individuals, issues and places that may not usually be noticed. Sometimes this may be a controversial subject and at other times merely an everyday incidence that perhaps we take for granted. He hopes he can reveal something new in what is often thought of as the mundane.
